Our team is looking for an Account Executive to join our team. Account executives are responsible for prospecting new business with government customers as well as upselling, and cross-selling within our extensive install base, as well as delivering results against a quota.

The role of an Account Executive is to support and grow federal, state, and local government accounts. This position drives sales growth of new and existing state contracts, state bids and federal installations.

The Account Executive is a solutions/ consultative sales role where you will be solving your client's business challenges by offering relevant and compelling software, hardware, software as a service (SAAS) subscription services and professional services.

The ideal candidate will possess the following qualifications:

  • Two-year minimum, successful experience selling to B2B accounts.
  • Experience selling to state, federal and local government agencies. (If you don’t have the experience and you want to learn, we can train you)
  • Successful experience developing new logos and penetrating new accounts.
  • History of success selling multi location, solutions-based software, hardware, and services
  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent work experience
  • Requires effective communication and interpersonal skills (verbal, written, presentation) with internal and external customers.
  • Strong proficiency in MS Word and Excel and CRM systems.
  • Strong contract database administration experience.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, handle multiple activities and short turn-around times
  • Effectively interact with "C-Suite" level and "influencers" of the organization

This position has a target base salary of:

$65,000.00

and annual commission target of:

$71,000.00
